Overview
I enjoy making PCBs to automate boring things. Currently, I'm working on a side project to connect as many home appliants as I could to Alexa and Siri to make a smart home. I'm developing a custom PCB using ESP32 which has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth functions to allow me control things remotely. I also aim to sharpen my skills in IoT and product design through this project.
Ideas
Smart Home is an interesting concept that I've wanted to implement to see where this is going based on my personal experiences. The smart devices on the market appear to be expensive blackboxes to many users. I plan to make my own ESP32 development board as a control hub to reduce costs and gain control for my home. And, I'm considering to add sensors to my home to make the whole system mine.
